There are many ways you can help us raise the money needed each year to keep George Mark Children’s House services available to our children and families.
From organizing or helping at events to adopting George Mark Children’s House as your school or business' charity there are plenty of fun and exciting ways to contribute. If you would like to host an event, please contact Ken Sommer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here are some ideas for fundraisers you or your group can hold:
Have a birthday party in honor of George Mark and in lieu of gifts have friends bring gift cards or make donations to George Mark.
Hold a bake sale, hot dog sale, or ice cream social.
Host a walk-a-thon, bike race, concert, tea party, car wash, talent show, quiz competition, pancake breakfast, dance, apple bobbing contest, auction, or make up your own fundraiser.
Active 20-30 Club San Francisco #4 held their “Sip, Swirl, and Change Lives” event which raise much needed funds for our kitchen.
“Mr. Amador Contest” at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton. For the second year these kids held their Mr. Amador Contest, a fun event for the entire school, to benefit GMCH.
The Northern California Cruisers Classic Car Club held a fundraiser showcasing their classic cars.
Andrew’s Race for the Children is a fun race in memory of Andrew Santana, one of our kids.
We Walk for Noah, in memory of sweet baby Noah, was a great way to spend time with family and get some exercise walking around the Lafayette Reservoir.
