October Update
George Mark has reopened with a new strategic plan and new energy. The goal of our finalized Strategic Plan is to secure income from a diversified revenue base, which will provide the sustainability that George Mark Children's House needs for long-term viability. The target is to realize 60% from insurance and patient payments, and 40% from philanthropy. Throughout the United States, a thriving George Mark Children's House will continue to be a beacon for pediatric palliative care. We will continue to train health care practitioners, teaching them to provide the best pediatric palliative care. Most of all, the comprehensive and compassionate care that has been received by approximately 3,000 children and their families here at George Mark Children's House will continue to be offered to those that we have already served and those that will need us at the most critical time of their lives.
