We expect to hear from the State this week on the re-affirmation of our CLHF license (Congregate Living Health Facility) as the most appropriate license category for us given the scope of services that we provide to our patients. While we expected this news last week, we are told that the letter has been drafted and is just waiting for a signature. This week we are preparing to meet with a large insurance company to begin the process of becoming a contracting facility. We have developed our initial budget for GMCH based upon a flexible acuity-based patient care concept resulting in a cost reduction of over a million dollars. While this is a good beginning, we hope to be even more cost effective as we go through the wedding process making sure that we have the proper resources to continue the provision of excellent patient care at the House.
Our very own Kathy Hull is receiving yet another award! The Jefferson Awards are a prestigious recognition system honoring community and public service in America.
